My nephew was telling me about Dragon Ball Z when it was airing on Cartoon Network's Toonami... and so i happened to watch it one day and was highly amused.. it was around before the Freeza Saga.. or maybe Garlic Jr.... not sure but i was simply astounded by it and kept watching.. At that time i wasn't even aware that it was considered an anime or neither did i know what an anime was then heh
