FROM NARUTO:

"BELIEVE IT!!" --I like it in JAPANESE. As in, "Dattebayo." The english version...just...really, really, really annoys me. I love Naruto, he's my ..what...third favourite character, but I can't stand the dubbed version. --> Wow. Notice how many times people have said that they don't like Naruto saying "Believe it!" either?? It's been mentioned a LOT in this topic. A LOT. Somebody go mail the producers the link to this forum...XD

And also when Sasuke was a freak who couldn't stop being emo. Everything he said at that period of time was annoying.

And from other anime? Well.

IF YOU WANT TO KILL THEM JUST GO AHEAD DAMNIT, DON'T NEED TO WASTE BREATH TELLING US "KILL YOU" "I'M GOING TO KILL YOU" EVERY FIVE SECONDS..Just go kill whomever it is already. Standing there with an evil face and saying "Kill You" over and over again won't help you. Just so you know.

And when you repeat the same old, same old "Believe in yourself and you will overcome your problems/fall in love/manage to defeat someone/gain mysterious magical power/etc."...it gets old. Or when you give a long speech on how you're going to get stronger...well. Once is fine. Don't need to say "I'm going to change and become stronger and stronger and THEN YOU'LL SEE..mwahaha" over and over again....

But then again, those things are the basis of most animes I watch. So I guess I'm a bit of a hypocrite.
