When I saw Yu Yu Hakuso the first time, I thought Kuranma is a girl , but why should a girl wear a boy uniform??? But then my friends told me that's a boy.

Yeah, it's not uncommon for anime boys to look like girls sometimes. The character Lucius in Fire Emblem: The Blazing Sword for the GBA looks almost completely like a girl, but he's really a boy. I don't really mind it, and I think it's kind of cool for characters to be more than just hyper-masculine or hyper-feminine.

Even if they looks like a boy, their cast probably a girl. It happens quite alot in anime with japanese cast ex;
