I agree! This anime is really something you don't wanna miss out on! Really hooks you on within the first few episodes.

omg, my older brother and i r hooked on it. he still watches it weekly on [adult swim], tho. i encouraged him 2 watch it in Japanese, like me, but he said he likes 2 wait 4 it every week. he likes the "suspense", i guess. anyway, its an awesome anime. its similar 2 Death Note, but not so similar so that you'd say, "hey, they copied Death Note!" im currently on season 1, ep.10.

I found Code Geass to be very entertaining. How ever I disliked how it became so focused on showing as much of the female characters as possible while also trying to accommodate the griping storyline. For me this factor took away from the over all enjoyableness of the first season and made it impossible for me to recommend it to my anime loving friends because they are a couple years to young for it. But excluding this factor Code Geass is quite brilliant, not look at what is happing in the present and focusing on the past shows how dedicated the creator of this anime is. And then there is Lelouch and his powers along with C.C. and her shady past. I must say that it all comes together expertly.
