If it's there, it's there. I don't see a point in removing it. But if it's gratuitous/unnecessary, I find the anime in question difficult to watch. All I do is wonder, How the heck can a person be sliced in half and not bleed to death? or some such question like that.

The place where I never, ever want to see blood is in hentai and the likes. (shudders) Such scarring memories....

It depends on the content - I don't like gore for the sake of gore perse, however, if there is battle violence and whatnot, I think it is necessary since it adds to the harshness of the situation and whatnot.

The blood is animated, so it doesn't bother me. What does bother me is that any regularly imported anime has been altered to reduce blood content.

I prefer blood more.......

I definitely love blood in anime, that's why I'm watching blood+ right now. ;P

I dun mind it is it looks like blood and not some red liquid.. hah
