I, personally...hate it! I get queasy when I see blood...even animated blood!

Well I'd rather see it in anime than know that it was cut out of it. You know for a fact that when someone gets cut, they are going to bleed. And if they get cut and there's no blood shown, then it just doesn't have any believability.

I don't mind blood, but it would be bad if blood was cut out, like the guy above me said. It takes away the essence of the plot.

I don't mind. But if there's blood, they shouldn't change its color for censorship reasons - that is unless it's made to be funny or dramatic. I think that School Days censoed its last episode by putting the blood black, and it sort of turned me off. But on the other hand, other series did censor their blood well - Bleach did it in black, and yes, when there's a fountain that spurts out of someone in a dramatic scene (Renji vs. Byakuya), the effect is nice. Or other comedy series that turn their blood shiny and multicolored, hehe.

I think, as with most mediums, it depends on the anime in question. Some are more suied to displaying blood than others. I personally have no objections to blood (especially seeing as I'm quite partial to the Hellsing Ultimate series :P)

I personally don't mind blood in anime as much. As I see it, anime is more aimed towards teenagers, so I think people should be able to handle it. Of course unless the show is aimed towards children, than no.

no problem for me. It's the sadistic action that bothers me, not the blood.
