Shojo or Shonen? Which is better? Why?

well, in my opinion shonen is much better, simply 'cause I don't like overloaded blinking pink worlds full or harmony and peace xD
so I need action

Nether of them are better they are both rlly good I read alot of shojo but i rlly like shonen depending on the manga

I don't really care. I Care more about art style, and story plot.

i like to read both
shounen for the action and shoujo for the drama and what not xD

Shounen=Anime targeted towards young-teen boys.
Shoujo=Anime targeted at young-teen girls.

There's no better or worse... there's these new things called "opinions"

i think it is good to have a good balance

for me, i simply love the sweet romantic stories, and oh it's so heartbreaking sometimes and then it'll be oh so sweet! >.< but i tend to stay away from those sparkly eye shojos cause they usually are pretty shallow, and stick with the josei like nana and honey and clover

butof course, after watching the romance i must delve in to the bloodsoaked action. Ah yes the action that is so blood filled it makes me smile. And i don't me shows like naruto with puny battles. i mean rated 18+ like helllsing, devil may cry and black lagoon

i think shonen or shoujo is not important , main thing is the tenor
