Does anyone know about 'Tales of Phantasia - The Animation' yet? It's suppose to be based off the original game I think.

Sorry, I don't know a thing about Tales of Phantasia - The Animation. However, I know that Tales of Symphonia - The Animation has already been made, so you could probably expect something soon. I remember reading that the Tales of Symphonia Animation was based off the game, so it wouldn't shock me if a Tales of Phantasia animation did the same.

Symphonia has it's own movie? I suspected that others would come out, but I had thought they were going to base the movie releases on the game release... Is there any other releases in waiting I wonder...

I saw a little of Symphonia...or was it Phantasia? Never played the game, so I don't know. There was a big orange dragon, and a blond kid...does that help?

Anyway, I saw a bit, and it was maybe a little better than most anime based on RPGs, is what I gander. I dunno, there's only so much you can watch of another person playing a shortened version of a video game, but you might enjoy it, like I said, the animation was decent. Google some reviews of it or something, you're bound to get somewhere.

Blond kid... Sounds like Cress from Tales of Phantasia to me. No Symphonia movie yet... I was wondering if anyone else had heard of the anime before. I had borrowed it from a friend to see if it stayed with the game's storyline or not. Haven't watched it yet though.

I watched it online years ago, it was basically a summary of the entire story of the game :3 i liked it, but i wish they made the anime into an actual series cuz it looked promising <3

i was so glad when i watched it....finally a good animation of a game......most animations based off games suck..............i expect great from tales of symphonia animation ...i hope
they don´t disappoint me

Yes!!! I just watched that yesterday. (All in one sitting which nearly drove me insane but it was worth it.) I thought it was kind of funny how Cless or Cress (whichever it is) was basically taking all the enemies out with one hit. (If that was only true for the game...) I loved how he was fighting though.
Dhaos was starting to get on my nerves though. He kept saying the same things...Other than the fact he looks scary and the aforementioned overused repetition, I kind of like his character.

I've heard about it. Is it any good?
