the very first anime i remember i saw was DBZ because my brother was hooked up on it. Following that was cardcaptor sakura and then pokemon =D

dragonball, dragonball z and then dragonball gt.... if you remember it was on tv in 1993 and dubbed ok... but what got me hooked was megaman but its more like a cartoon

The first anime I saw was DBZ as a kid, then probably Full Metal Alchemist as I got older, which drew me to others.

The first one that I saw was Sailor Moon. But the one that got me interested was DBZ and Tenchi in Tokyo.

My nephew was telling me about Dragon Ball Z when it was airing on Cartoon Network's Toonami... and so i happened to watch it one day and was highly amused.. it was around before the Freeza Saga.. or maybe Garlic Jr.... not sure but i was simply astounded by it and kept watching.. At that time i wasn't even aware that it was considered an anime or neither did i know what an anime was then heh

I think Pokemon was my first anime. Either that or Sailor Moon. Dragon Ball Z followed soon after.

hmm... it was like more than 10 years ago... I think it was dragon ball... but ayashi no ceres really made me fall in love with anime waahaha.. and from then on I just can't get enough of anime!!!
