Default download problems

when I want to download inukami or anime, I cant. I did use mozilla and took the suggestion to use flock but the problem is still there.
when i click download, quicktime appears, and i think the episode plays but there is only sound. then a message that says "error loading url.dll %1 is not valid. Help! thank you
I right clicked on the episode file to save link as, but for me its an html document.

it turns out quicktime is the problem (I tried deleting it), and the downloads worked. but can someone please tell me how i can download episodes and still keep quicktime on my computer? I need it for music. thank you!

Codecs don't have any effect on whether you can download something or not. I have downloaded Inukami! from this site, so I happen to know that it does work. First I'll suggest you try this: Before You Say a File is Corrupted Try This
If that doesn't work for you then post exactly what error messages you're getting.

"You must be," said the Cat, "or you wouldn't have come here."

If Quicktime is opening up then you're computer is trying to stream the episodes. The files posted on the site aren't for streaming. They're for direct download. Right click on the link and choose the save target as/save link as, or if you're using DownThemAll! then choose Save link with DownThemAll! option. That should fix the problem.
