Default Dune, Frank Herbert

What does everyone think about the novel:
Dune, By: Frank Herbert...

This is by far my favorite novel, and love the storyline and the in-depth world created by Herbert.

I have more to say, but I'd rather save it for after some others post here.

The first Dune is my 2nd Favorite books. Its great, the sequels are not nearly as good though, far to complex to get into, I feel like I'm reading an extended essay on religon through half of each book.
Dune itself though is wonderful, and the Sci-fi specials actually I think did them resonable justice

Did any one read the sequals of Duna they are pretty good but eventually they donīt have much to do with the original story wich is a shame since Dune kicks ass itīs my fav SF book

I've read all up to halfway through Chapter House Dune. Aside from the original Brian Herbert's prequels are the best in the series

I haven't actually read the novel but I have watch a few of the movies and played a few of the games, I might buy the novel if I can afford it when I see it. Judging from the movie it should be good like the rest

I saw the mini-series but haven't read the books yet. I loved the movies so I'm mostly likely going to be locked away in my room and read everything I can about it. I was planning to do it this summer but I somehow got a life(Unforturately, it's gone) lol
