Default Metallica's best album

This is just to know which one do you guys think was the best album from the band that is, in my oppinion, the best in the whole world. Personaly, I think their best is "Ride the Lightning". "Master of Puppets" and "Metallica" (black album) come in close but "Ride the Lightning" is my favourite.

The Master of Puppets and Ride the Lightning are by far the greatest albums they have come out with. Amazing classic songs on those, it was pure gold. Go back to old style Metallica,.

I never really listened to any of their older stuff, but I love St. Anger. I've been listening to Frantic nonstop the past couple of days, Great song, Great album in general.

S&M by far something about an orchestra and metal that sounds so powerful. S&M also features more or less all of Metallicas best song. Hero of the day sounds awesome so does fuel. Black album comes second another great album that features most of their best songs

^ I agree. S&M is my favourite. Not only is it the largest album brining everything together but a lot of their songs sound so much more powerful with a full orchastra behind it, EG. Sad But True for example.

It also included bonus tracks with some new greats like No leaf Clover and Minus Human. It's a great album, next to it I would say Ride the Lightning for second best album.

My favorite one is the black album, i dunno i like it cause the songs on it are more deep, I mean sad but true is a great song off that album, i just think with that album they let ppl know more of what they feel, lol there i got rambling again.

Gotta go with "...And Justice For All." Black Album was a work of genius, St. Anger is a fresh taste that says they still have it, but AJFA, for some reason, just raises itself above the others I've heard for me.

I'd have to say The Master of Puppets is my fav. The Black Album was really good, but I still think MoP outshines it. ^_^ I don't know why, but it just has some of their best songs on it, Orion has to be my fav. song of Metallica's, ever. I admit, they are a great band, but I've found they've gone in a downward slope, I prefer their older music to their new music, (St. Anger for example, that CD was utter crap, I found it an embarrasement to the name Metallica)....My opinion stands, now I'll take my leave.....

Master of puppets is my favorite. I really love the album and I guess that ride the lighting is second on my list with the black album 3rd.
I love every single song on the album and played it more times than I can count
