Almost anything that's rock or close enough to it. I can stand very little of other music styles short of video game music (mostly Final Fantasy). That's about all that I listen to.

Rap is so repatitive. Well most of it is....it's the same thing over and over again, and all the rappers do is sing....they play no instruments, and you don't even need a good voice really. And don't give me that ''Yea well they had a hard life'' because many people do. If I did I wouldn't announce it to everyone...I'd keep it to myself. Rap is crap to me. Sorry :P

Rap is okay, I can stand it, because, like with J-pop, I grew up with rap thanks to my sister:P

Metal for sure (all forms from death to heavy)...
For a long time I have loved metal in it's entirity!
The best drumming in the world is in metal, c'mon in most music you either have the lamest or most bored drummers! In metal, drummers (procusianists) get to test their skills, and express themselves more than usual.
Upon this the Guitar and bass work in metal is also AWSOME!
The only better bass work I've heard is in Celtic music with a "double Bass" and other bass strings

Hmm...this is pretty tough. But I have to go with..emo (pronounced E-mo). I just love the stuff. I guess mainly because of the lyrics, but I find some awesome gutar stuff in there too. It's just all around good. For those of you who dont' know, emo is short for emotion. This is because the lyrics usually find great ways of just capturing emotion. It's great to listen to a song and try to figure out what they may be talking about, or to just be in awe at the sheer poetic ways they find to put different subject. i.e. Brand New's song "Sic Transit Gloria...Glory Fades". It's a song about sex, but there are only a select few obvious lyrics that would let you know that. ah..I love it :P Some bands in the emo genre I like are Brand New, Taking Back Sunday, The Used, Saves The Day (I consider them emo), moneen, Yellowcard, Dashboard Confessional,..I sort of like The All-American Rejects and they are sort of emo, and The Juliana Theory. That's the list of the emo bands I like that I can think of. Anyway, emo is my favorite genre. It rules 8)

Mine would have to be j-rock. Visual kei, if you want to get technical! I love bands like Malice Mizer, Moi dix Mois, Gackt, Dir en Grey, Kagraa, Vidoll, etc..

Emo rocks. I think it's one of the best forms of music out there. It can get annoying on how they always say sad things and shit, but the music is really good
