Shrek 3 was a really terrible movie, especially considering how good the two previous movies are. Eragon wasn't very good, nor was Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban OR Goblet of Fire. Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End wasn't as good as it could have been. I'm probably forgetting a bunch, too. :s

most anime movies based on japanese light novels (but not based off the manga or the anime series), movies based off books in general, movies based on comics, movies based on video games, and especially Harry Potter.

The Star Wars new trilogy.

League of Extraordinary Gentlemen (such potential, so hideously abused and wasted).

All three Matrix movies, because I hate that guy who plays Neo. And the special effects sucked.

The last movie that disappointed me was Iron Man. It's as if they worked so much on how he came to be that, an hour into it, they freaked out and rushed through the rest of the movie to the end. The final battle was so short and simple.

Robots. Its a children's movie, but at least for me, it wasnt loveable. I think it has to do with the characters, it's been a while since ive watched it, so i cant give any details.

I also didnt like Shrek 3 that much. I wanted to love it, but all that sappy stuff... i dunno.

The latest Harry Potter was also a dissapointment. I've put up with the other ones because honestly, nothing can touch the book :P, but for me, this one was too fast pace, they introduce characters and you dont even learn who they are. Like Tonks. I loved her in the book, but she might as well have simply not been in the movie. I think that if I havent read the book, i wouldnt have known what was going on.

i don't know if anyone's mentioned it yet... but probably one of the latest disappointments was Mike Myers' "The Love Guru". There were some funny parts, but the movie as a whole was terrible. He was just trying way too hard to incorporate his love for the Leafs into a flick
