HAHAHA!!! Many of you doubted me when I picked them as my team to win the World Series. I know a few of you said they wouldn't make it past the Braves. DON'T UNDERESTIMATE THE CUBS!

Kerry Wood pitched great last night. It should have been a shutout except the blind ump fucked up a call.

I think MLB should require all umpires to undergo regular vision tests. In fact, officials for all sports should do that.

im very happy that the cubs won, ive been a fan for most of my life and im gald to see them finally going somewhere. in fact my dad even watched 2 of the last games, which he hasnt done in a looong time, he claims the cubs ruined baseball for him in the 70's, but the fact that he is watching them reallly says something

I cant stand the braves, i just ugh dont like them >( anyways the cubs made it and thats what counts.

Atlanta has 12 division titles and one World Series. They went to the World Series five different times. They lost to Minnesota in '91, Toronto in '92, Yankees in '96, Yankees in '99, and they won it in '95 beating Cleveland. They won't win another World Series title. Sure, they can 100 games every season but they end up choking.

I said they were going to choke this season and I was right.

I am very happy for the Cubs. Though I didn't expect them to do as well as they have I am pulling fro them to beat the Marlins who upset my Giants. I must say one thing about these playoffs no team that I picked has played their best not the Giants or Braves. But anyway go Cubbies!

Cubs lost Game 1. They'll be back. They have Prior going for them today.

Mike Lowell hit a GW homer. Funny how when Florida was losing, Lowell was on the trading block. Since they started winning, Florida decided to keep Lowell.

seeing as how i live in chicago, this season has been a miracle, im not a huge fan of baseball, but holyshit are they doin it, NL league championship w/ against the marlins? thats insane, they won 12-3 yesterday thats even more insane

I watched that game with my grandfather. I've been saying it all along. DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE THE CUBS!!!

Wood vs. Redman in Game 3 in Florida. Advantage goes to Wood. I think that Sammy will slam the shit out of the ball like he did in Game 2.

Florida's chances aren't very high because they have both Wood and Pryor twice in a seven game series.

Cubs will win it all this year.

You can't really say they'll win the World Series past the first round...
But anyway, yeah they shocked the hell out of me by actually winning a round. When they needed Sosa, bam, home run in the bottom of the 9th to tie the game.

they play tonight, and i think they are gonna get it, prior and wood, even if one of them loses they still win, those 2 pitchers are hard to beat
