Personally I was suprised I never saw a thread devoted to Evangelion Neon Genesis. The series is one of, if not the, most brilliant well like animes ever. What do you think?

I saw only one episode. I beleive it may have been the first...

I was kind of confused. Someone I knew trieed to explain it but that didnt work either...

I did create a Neon Genesis Evangelion thread before the hack.
Anyway, I think this anime is one of the best I ever seen. It's my second favourite, after Rurouni Kenshin. It was also one of the first I saw so that also has some influence. I've seen all the series on TV and, though I don't particularly like dubs, I liked it from the first time I saw the first episode.

I loveded it. Asuka is one of the most awesome female anime characters out there.....and although Shinji's a bit of a wimp, he's got it where it counts....deep inside, in his heart.

Now Evangelion is by no means my favorite but I love its brillance. You have to watch through at least twice to understand it, and if you claim to get the movie garunteed someone else has a different opinion.

I actually couldn't stand the one dubbed i saw and had to turn it off. The voices in the dubbed are the worst.

I like this anime alot I have all the episodes. The story is really good and original. The dubbing isn't that bad, I've heard much worse. But of Course I like the original voices more than the dubs.

ive seen a couple eps of Eva and i have the first 2 mangas, and i have to say... i absolutely love it! ^^ it's interesting and everything, and you gotta love PenPen, lol ^^ i really need to see the whole series... *evangelion withdrawal* lmao :lol:

Well I'll just say that whatever thoughts I had about where the series was going at the begining were completely wrong by the end. But do see the entire thing, NGE is one where you can't miss an episode.

I finally got around to seeing it a month or so back ... yeah, it took me long enough. LOL I can now see why it is one of the anime classics. Great storyline, action, characters. The ending is confusing as hell though. LOL
