The movies just suck. Period.

The movies sucked, the music was good before they started trying to go astro with it, and "Toasty!!!" is still the best way to humiliate your best friend in 7 seconds.

I remember watching a bit of one of them >_> Liu Kang was getting hit on or something so I stopped watching it rofl

I enjoyed the films, as brainless action films. Although the second was bad even by my bad-film-liking standards. And lacked Christopher Lambert and Cary Hiroyuki-Tagawa, who really upped the first film a lot.

As to the soundtrack, I liked the first one better than the second- a lot more music that was in my preferred styles.

I still remember that crazy movie techno music they had.... what was up with that?
I love it though. It's pretty classic.
I guess it opened my eyes to techno/dance whatever it was when I was young,
because I really just didn't know about that stuff.

i always prefered street fighter, but the mortal kombat movie was better then the street fighter movie
