i'm sorry,

lol im going ahead and start receiving requests again. its funny how people want things only when the chance is gone. dragonladyslair, i do realize my short time window, but considering how responsive this forum usually is, i assumed people had no interest in the thread. Sorry!

Hi komachan!, sorry if i caused any disappointments, but i am here and back to help and share!! As you probably noticed, Final Fantasy XI Piano Collections book and sheet music is quite hard to find, that is because it was never published (or created for that matter). I do, however, have an alternative link that i can give you that has fan arranged sheet music, some of which are really good. Here's the link:
Final Fantasy XI Sheet Music, MP3s, and MIDIs - SquareSound Fan Arrangement Archive
you may be familiar with this site, because it is one of my personal favorites. As you will notice, the page also has MIDI audio files, which you can listen too. BUT, as a fellow musician, i will let you in on a secret on virtual sheet music: you can turn cheap sounding MIDI files to sheet music!!

How?? Well, here it is, and to people reading this thread pay attention!
In my original post (which i had put down, sorry again) i had mentioned the programs Sibelius 5 Demo and Finale Notepad 2008. Both programs allow you to open midi files and automatically turn it to sheet music you can play. The programs have their differences such as in Finale, you can save the file you converted as well
create and save your sheet music! (yup, you can go Mozart if you want). Sibelius converts the files, but you are not able to save them, however, i find Sibelius' interface more intuitive and player friendly. The links to download these programs are here:
Finale: NotePad
Sibelius: Sibelius - Download
You need to create an account for Finale and give some info for Sibelius, but neither bother you with annoying junk mail, and both are perfectly safe. ( i haven't had a problem the last 2 years I've had them) after this just click download and then follow the installation instructions (pretty self explanatory). After installation just start up the programs and open the midi file with the program. for Finale click File>Open. For Sibelius, a start up screen will show displaying commands choose "open a MIDI file" Voila! sheet music! i may warn you though that the sheet music might be "messy" and hard to read, but it great to know familiar melodies and such. Hope i helped and sorry again! If you have any questions, just ask.
