LoadRunner 5.0 provides three new tools for helping to pinpoint performance problems and improve the efficiency

of your applications. Each of these tools is integrated into the LoadRunner Controller and off-line Analysis.

This tool gives detailed information about the components that make up the transaction time to help to

determine the cause of slow response time for Oracle servers. The transaction time components include network

or client delays or the Oracle database server machine's CPU performance, I/O delays or database locking.

LoadRunner now provides online monitoring of remote machine resources from the LoadRunner Controller. This tool

is useful for determining what caused a bottleneck on a particular machine. You can monitor the resources on an

NT machine or UNIX machine.

You can use LoadRunner's Network monitoring feature to check performance of a network path, allowing you to

determine which network segment is causing delays.
