Yea tht is a slow connection but then i have a 1 MB/S download cap so i have a decent speed.... i try to throttle my speed so that i dont overload the cable modem but yea you shoudl get a min of 28-56kb/s

You should definately consult your ISP if this is your download speed, nowadays that is insanely low for anyone.

Mine ranges between 115Kb/s (on bad days) and 7458Kb/s (7.2Mb/s or there abouts)(on bloody awesome days). I even once had a download speed of 11352Kb/s (10.5Mb/s or there abouts), I have no idea in hell how this happened I just know I was on Cloud Nine.

necropedal: two things.

One: ISPs sometimes give burst speeds, but that's crazy. I think it was-> Two: if you, say, wait to click on the "save" button, or between when you click to save it and where you actually choose to save it to, the computer is downloading. Since download speed is a calculation of recieved data vs. time, it'll take all you've downloaded and put it into the first second mark, therefore showing a large speed, whereas actually it was just a bad calculation.

No it's not normal.. Maybe your firewall settings are blocking some of the streaming?
