I liked all of the weapons from FF7 and the Death Penalty from Dirge of Cerebus

My personal favorite genre of weapons are medium-sized, automatic solid-shot rifles, an excellent example the standard Assault Rifle from Halo.

Large, explosive weapons are fun too.

Excalibur. It is so nice and powerful mostly in Final Fantasy and also Golden Sun.

I'll list a few:

• Lightsabers
• Gravity gun
• Laptop gun (Perfect Dark)
• Master Sword (some surprisingly useful and nifty uses in Twilight Princess)
• Silenced PP7 (it just seems sleekly professional)
• A lot of Guild Wars' bows and swords

Avalon from Fate/Stay Night (well, not really a weapon, but its way too powerful)

Avalon - The Ever Distant Utopia
The normal ability is healing injuries and preventing aging. Activation as a Noble Phantasm causes it to come apart in hundreds of pieces and completely protect its user from all forms of interference, a mobile fortress. Shuts (not blocks or reflects, but shuts) out all physical interference, transliners from parallel worlds, and multidimensional (multiplanar; as far as the 6th) contact; including all of the five magics. A Noble Phantasm on the level of magic. The greatest protection in the world.
