what is the hardest rpg you have ever played. the hardest i have played is FF7 or CHRONO TRIGGER.

I picked Other, because the hardest RPG I ever played was Legend of Legaia. I was really young at the time, and that game was just too hard for me. :P All though I did beat it eventually.

I also picked other. RPGs are not very hard for me. But I guess the hardest one I've played is Lunar 2 Eternal Blue Complete since the monsters in the Epilogue were kind of hard to beat.

I say .hack series, cause for one, it seems like they expect you to play the old games, cause as the game series grows, the harder it gets. @_@;; joy.

Final Fantasy 4. Not so much difficulty wise, but the fact that it was a bitch to pplay.

In my opinion, bad story, non-likable charcters (except Edge and Cid), equip was bad (I guess you could say whole menus), and it was very hard to lvl up/get exp.

I hate it. I've almost beat it though.

Final Fantasy 7

It was cause the battle system was different for me lol and it took a lil while for me to get use to it.

reason i picked those games is because I have not played many RPGs

Out of those, I'd have to say Xenosaga is, mostly because of it's length. The Final Fantasy series hasn't been too difficult for me yet, except for maybe the end of FF8, I just never got the Lionhear. >_< Also, Final Fantasy 1 was hard for me, because I got it on an emulator and didn't know what the hell I was supposed to do. Xenosaga would have to be the hardest one I've played though, mostly from it's length and character design, some of it was a bit tricky for me to get, like the battle system. o_O

Final Fantasy IV for me. I was like 7 when I first played it...Hey let's see you guys beat Zeromus as a seven year old :P
