has anybody else played this game? its quite fun, although a little repetitive. i could pull better voice acting out of my ass, though, and the music is nothing speaial, but its strangely addictive.

I have the game and it's pretty good. You get to go golfing and fishing in this game. The voice acting was a little plain but the battle system was good. Time traveling is good too. This game is much better than the first Dark cloud. (well sort of)

I played it, and personally i like the 1st one better >>. I dunno I just do, and NO im not saying the 2nd one sucks, i like the 2nd one too is awesome, i just like the 1st one a bit more lol. Probably cause I always played it non stop i guess. Anyways overall dark cloud 2 is a good ass game.

I tried a demo on DC1 tho and it was pretty cool.

Well a friend of mine just bought it and told me that there were many differences like you have to invent things.
to invent things you need to take pictures of things (including enemy´s) and then combine those pictures and your char will sometimes come up with an idee.
After that you can collect the items to built the device.

Dark Cloud 2 is much better than the original IMO. The battling is much btter for a start! Each character has their own special abilities to use. Max has a robot called the ridpod which you can customise to what you want. Monica can change into monster and you can chat to ones of the same speices, or just fight as them! There are also mini games such as fishing and Spherda (like golf!). It think it's much more than the original. Starts out slow, (being chased by an evil clown! 'can't sleep clown'll eat me!')But once you get inot the Georama elements of it it's really quite good. Most of the game is custimisation and being creative. That's what it'a all about.
