i got a good 64mb video card which is recommended for the game but it is not of the right brand so i do not think that i will be able to play FFXI when it comes out. I believe it says you need Nvidia or ATI radeon or something which sucks because mine would be capable of playing if it was the right brand.......or am i wrong?

I doubt just those two brands of video cards work, maybe Square-Enix will come out with drivers for other video cards

yeah the Integrated Intel 3D Extreme graphic controller does't support T&L, and mine is also 64MB, so anyone with this video card needs to get a new card. And if you don't have an AGP slot then I suggest that you get a Radeon 9200 PCI video card.

This FF-game is not a very videodemanding one, it will probably work with your machine, if you have enough RAM that is.

No, my video card does not support T&L. When I run the FFXI benchmark I get an error telling me that I don't have support it.

mine says some gibberish too and says error; this is messed up, they should do something about it to make the game more supportive of other video cards that meet the requirements for the amount of memory and not just the brand of the video card or whatever it is....:'(
