Theories of the Black Cloaked Guys : KH2

Yay! Theories time. A lot of you might have seen the trailer for KH2 which shows a groups of black cloaked/hooded guys and their leader with the red hair (guessing this is the new main boss). One site mentions that ONE of these guys is Ansem. I also heard that Mickey is one as well.

So what of the others? I have a theory that they are FF bosses. In IGN it said that all of the FF characters that were in KH would return for KH2. So this could possibly mean Sephiroth as well. So Sephy would be one of those black cloaked guys. And maybe there is Seifer, Kuja, Seymour or Kefka in there also.

One of the reasons I think that Sephy could perhaps be part of the "heartless" is the quote that he says to Cloud in Kingdom Hearts: Final Mix:

"If that's so, I shall draw you into the darkness. Into the nightmare that forever deprives you of light, from which you can never awaken."

I love this quote, but it also gets me thinking that Sephiroth has more of a connection to the other FF characters than just a Colisseum boss. Cloud says that he has been searching for someone ... and that is Sephiroth we find out also in KH:FM. So it is possible that he too came from Hollow Bastion like the others. Maybe he even had something to do with the taking over of that world by the Heartless (like becoming involved later on, seeing he was already bad, decided to join their side) that Leon was not able to stop. And with that quote, the way that Sephy talks, he is referring to the darkness and being deprived of light ... this is exactly what the Heartless are all about. Therefore, I think that Sephy is working with the Heartless in some way.

there's a chance that Cloud might be one of those cloaked guys as well maybe even squall who knows i'm just guessing i haven't heard any rumors or anything all i know is that Cloud was one of the bosses in KH right and so was squall right so there's a chance that they might be one of the cloaked guys

Oh my god!! That would be awsome! If all the FF bosses would be the bad guys in KH2

Btw I saw another movie where you see that Mickey Is one of the hooded guys.

Kuja and Seymour? That would be awesome! So it's it's almost like an Ultimate battle of Good and Evil! I can't wait this just sounds to good. And I think Seifer MIGHT be one of the hooded characters. Well here's my reason why I think so: Seifer, in my opinion wasn't so bad. He didnt die no matter how many times you did beat him in FFVIII. And well, Squall was in the last game, so maybe there should be some tension going on. And I remember one site saying that theres a high chance of Rinoa having an appearance in KHII.
And besides, I think Seifer would look better in black.
BTW: In my opinion, Seifer is one of those "weakminded" characters, He even alligned with Edea, so whats going to stop him from joining the Heartless?

I soooo hope this is true

It would be the ultimate game!
If the FF bosses would be the "evil council" that was in KH1, you know hook, ogie and all those disney badguys.
If they made an alliance to kill Sora, its judt to awsome:lol:

A friend of mine told me that the one DRESSED in RED is Ansem. I don't know where he got this information. But I was thinking about it, and here's why I think he would conclude that.

KH, remember at the end, Ansem finally discovered that Kingdom Hearts was made of light. Ergo, Ansem disappeared, or in my opinion was injured by the light.

Therefore, by looking at the "Red dressed unknown" you can see that his face is wrapped in red bandages. And you might be able to see his eye, which should be yellow.

And in the Deep Dive trailer, I believe that the glow-eyed unknown may be Ansem.
Note, before the glow-eyed unknown appears, the symbol of the Heartless flashes for a brief second, you may not recognize it because the color is yellow. And, like I said before, Ansem's eyes are yellow, same as the Glow-eyed unknown.
And, I'm not sure if any of you actually pay attention to the clothes, but I've looked at Ansem's boots in KH, and compared them with the glow-eyed unknown's. They match.

Remember, this was only info based on what my friend told me.

An interesting theory and one I'd like to believe since I'd like to have Sephiroth play a bigger part in KH 2 than he did in KH. Kefka and Kuja will probably be out since I believe that the reason why FF IX characters didn't appear in KH is that Tetsuya Nomura, the man that came up with the idea for KH and is in charge of the project, didn't create them. He was the character designer for FF VII, VIII and X but, for some reason, he was left out of the FF IX project.
Since the game is still in development, I don't think that anyone (short of Tetsuya Nomura himself, who came up with the idea) can tell for sure who the cloaked guys are. We'll just have to wait and see.

I realy doubt that all of the cloaked people are ff characters just remember that the game has disney in it, Though it would be extremly cool to have ff bosses in it the hooded characters could be Ansem Mickey Riku sephy and maybe an anonyomous disney character.

Nah, I think somewhere I read that they're called the Nobody (their name is in the Deep Dive trailer found atwww.gametrailers.com and that they're gonna destroy the world or something. I also saw a pic of them and there were a slew of them at what looked like to be Hollow Bastion. Weird. Can't wait till 2004!

Well, Mickey DOES have a black cloak on. I have pics of him. And in the secret ending of KH so is Riku.....maybe the black cloaked people are people whom tried to close the door to the darkness before Sora and got taken in by it, just like Riku and Mickey did at the end of the game. I dunno, I like SY's theory but I doubt it's correct for some odd reason. :-\

(Oh yea, Ansem is one. At the begging of the gaeme, remember?

Hmmm...maybe thier dark mages sucked in by darkness stuck between worlds o.O)
