Wow I really can't answer this question. I mean I grew up with the very first system ever made and I don't know if any of those were beatable but I played them all the time Have no clue if I ever beat them. As far as the first one I remember beating. It was probably megaman or the second or third mario on nes.

I think it might have been the original pokemon red, but i'm not sure.

Quake II. I played it on my dad's old laptop, until the screen broke and it couldn't be used without a monitor
