fours monsters where scarier without using shock to do it. it was just repeted sound petterns that were slight that gave me the willies. and 5 looks to be the scaries in my opinion. it just looks disturbed, and shocking, due to it being in the day time. creepy

the first one was my favorite, i didn't really like the 3rd one >>;; it was kinda easy for me xDd

resident evil 5 is gonna go down in history as the best thing ever

I'm a fan but I've never beat them, because I don't play them! I sit back and watch my boyfriend play them. They scare me too much haha. I'm so much better at playing Silent Hill cause I find things less scary when you can't see them coming for you (gotta love that thick fog barrier).

i have only played resident evil 4 and is a very good game but i cant compare with the others

i dont like play this game. it's hard for me to play it.

RE 1 is the best and RE 2 is second. RE Code Veronica was as good as RE2 and RE 3 was ok I think but RE 4 isn't a real RE game for a few reasons:

1. Not single good puzzle
2. This new looking style sux cause its less horrorfying that way
3. A RE which was a Gamecube exclusive at first (WTF)?

Its still a good game but you can't compare it to the other RE games.

I am in love with the Resident Evil series.
4 was pretty good but I dont think that you can compare 4 (and possibly 5) to the older games.
I liked 1 and 2, 3 was a bit out of place, CV was ok, and i didnt even bother with survivor or outbreak.

and whats wrong with that?

The original is still my personal favorite, partially due to nostalgia. The new direction certainly makes for a great game, though I love the classic Biohazard formula to this day.
