Tekken is fun with a good range of characters to choose from but most of the battles can be won through random button mashing.

Well said but that doesn't mean I don't like the game I like playing it once in a while especially now that I have PSP slim and I can finally play Tekken 5 DR like I do on the PS console.

That might work if you're playing against the computer. Play against a seasoned arcade veteran who actually knows the inner workings of the game and you'll be dead in less than 30 seconds.

Online gameplay doesn't count by the way, the amount of lag in online gameplay makes it impossible to block lows, break throws, or punish whiffed moves.

tekken3 was one of my favorite fighting games (recognize the past form?? )
smashin can only be done by haohmaru and eddie, try lei smashing style and you'll get beaten by cpu

I loved tekken 3 and 4. I was a fan of using the mishima-clan characters.
The tekken 3 osts are really good btw.

Most games nowadays can be beat by simple button mashing for the most part with the 1 exception being VF as far as recent games go. The characters are either too easy (when played normally) or too hard (when the difficulty is set at a higher level) and their isn't much a middle ground for the most part. It was mentioned that skilled players change things and that is all too true playing a good human player and a good CPU make a considerable difference.

Tekken is good for beginner fighter gamers

Tekken is good because u get 2 kick butt with tht black guy.. and theres not an over exageration of black people so it makes the game even better!! yea boy lol naw just playin i think black people r kool... in a faliure sort of way...

oh my gosh... i'm listening to the tekken 3 ps soundtrack right now. The drums in Gun Jack's theme are amazing.
