For me, it was the end of Metal Gear Solid 2 when Solidus breaks his spine because you can see his eyes glisten and although he was the villain it was really sad. As for unoffical cutscenes, it'd be when I use the cinematic theatre mode to change Solidus to Snake.

Final Fantasy VII. The end of the first disk. Poor Aeris.

Probably the last fight in MGS3, i've never really felt reluctant to pull the trigger until then.

When Tidus vanishes in FFX (FFX-2 never happened as far as im concerned ).

For me it was in FF7 when Sephiroth comes down from above and impales Aeris with his sword. That really upset me for some reason. I think it was because I was really getting into the plot of the story and Cloud and Aeris were starting to make an emotional connection to one another.

In MGS 3 when you have to pull the trigger on the Boss yourself.

Probably for me it was when Rue and Claire finally saw each other again in Threads of Fate, though I have to admit most games don't really affect me emotionally.

undoubtly the most moving moment for me was FFX ending

when Tidus was disappearing and Yuna said "I Love You"..
i cried then

only real men can admit they are crybabies

i'm very emotionally attached to certain characters when i play RPGs
i consider them as real people, and my friends

that may sound sad.. but i don't care, i think it's the point of RPGs..
