In Kingdom Hearts 2, when Roxas realizes he's a Nobody just moments before Sora wakes up... That scene makes me cry every time! (I'm crying just thinking about that scene...)

Also in KH, when Sora sacrifices himself to save Kairi. Sora's my all time favorite Kingdom Hearts character, and I was crying so hard just to see him sacrifice his own life for the one he loves... :'{

KH: Sora sticking the keyblade into himself. Indeed. That was a good one.
When Ansem the Wise uses his laser thingamabob in KH2.
FF7: Sephiroth killing Aeris
Star Ocean: Till the End of Time during the huge battle scene where several advanced battleships descend on a undeveloped world and when Fayt turns into a weapon or something. I never finished the game because I was more interested in the storyline than the play itself. Combat was boring and i hated the dungeons.
FFVIII: Dollet Landing. The music is probably the trick, mostly.

Mine has to be the scene from Kingdom Hearts II when Sora is Reunited with Riku in his 'Ansem' form, I thought it was rather amusing and adorable that Sora was bawling his eyes out for him ^^". Though I notice that people are implying the Final Fantasy VII Scene when Sephiroth kills Aeris/Aerith/Whatever the hell her real name is. Hmmm is Sephiroth killing Aeris/Aer-etc.. a good thing or bad? My hate for her still stays intact as I despise her for even having enter the game and meeting Cloud. So you could say I enjoyed every single pixel of the [Sephy killing 'Whatever her real name is'] scene.

although the Aerith dying scene is pretty intense, I'd have to say that when Kefka poisoned the river in FF3 and Cyan's family boarded the Phantom Train was pretty heart-wrenching.

Also, although it's emotional on a completely different level, beating that Dragonforce song on GH3 on Expert was an AMAZING feeling. Got my heart beating faster than any other game I can remember

There was much deeper emotional connection between tifa and cloud anyway

H-games are very emotional, especially when they're romantic...
