the classics are great. i prefer hem more-so than newer ones.

and besides, FF4 DS i got on reserve because i still remember the first day i play it. I cannot wait until it comes out in the new fresh look. And the Amano art is just so fantastic it compliments FF so wonderfully as well.

A major part of what makes all of these FF titles great is the story and character development. Unless you didn't play the originals, you already know what's coming. I like the old ones the way they are. Gives you a sense of where the series has been.

Maybe because people keep buying them:P

I'm just amazed at their seemingly never ending source of creativity in making one final fantasy different from another.

I think they should move away from the whole FF franchise and start developing a Chono Trigger or a brand new saga. I would love to see a unique universe of characters (preferably a continuing story throughout the games.)

The only FFs they haven't remade in some form are VII, VIII, and IX. XII is too young to remake, and XI doesn't count.

And you just know a PS3 remake of FFVII is Square's ace-in-the-hole for when sales turn south.

One simple thing: Money
Okay I don't know, maybe their got a pasion for the series...

Because it brings in money.Final Fantasy has a very large fanbase and people will pay plenty of money.Also they have a lot of free time and don't know what to do.
