Yeah, you have to remember that Final Fantasy is, technically, a game franchise, just like any other. When the cow keeps giving milk, why stop milking it?

Plus, it creates originality and innovation, two things that the gaming industry always needs to survive.

Not trolling here, just my opinion.
It's probably because as soon as you put "final" and "fantasy" onto something, it sells like crazy (ecept for the first movie lol).
Ever since the last director left the company most of the newer FFs lost their substances (as do most of the game they make now), that's why they keep doing remake OR sequel to already popular ones (like all the retconing they did with FF7). It's a good thing Enix is still publishing Tri-Ace's stuff IMO

No problems all Final Fantasy had increased by a logo Square Enix, I like to all FF games!

Nothing wrong with bringing out more FF games as long as they are quality games.

its a shame because the new FF aren't as deepl and well crafted as 1-9
after 10 and after tetsuya nomura left. plus the old director i forget hsi name. FF isnt the same.

What they oughta do is not spend 10 years on a game and go near bankrupt on shitty movies.
