Well I saw the first episode way back when it first aired... I was like... 5 or something. My dad saw that I liked the show so he bought me a gameboy color and the game as a present. :3 That's when I got into the cards, other games... etc. I'm not a big fan of the new pokemon though - the series has died down for me.

I do like Pokemon games. I originally found out about them from some friends that were visiting town and they had them. Then their dad was really nice and bought me and my brother our own GBCs and Blue and Red, respectively. I make sure to buy at least one game from each generation. I've gotten Blue, Yellow, Silver, Crystal, Ruby, Emerald, and Pearl.

tehe... I have all the first movie cards...
The card game is actually still really fun. I don't see people's beefs with TCG's. Hell, I still play Yu-gi-oh! and pokemon every once in a while. They are fun.

Red Version is where it started for me.
Gold Version is where it ended for me.

from GBA and DS I have not cared for the games.
