hao its over rated and overhiped, the only reason halo became so popular its because iut was the only FPS for the xbox hueg box lulz, now, there are lots off different options, and halo its just a standard game imo, it doesnt suck, but its not the game-god, i prefeer CoD4,a dn i DO HAVE THE 3 HALOS KTNKSBAI NO U

My floormate started a facebook group called "Halo sucks ass." Me, I think it's OK. It's way overrated though, it's only a lot of fun when you are playing it with friends. I've played CoD4 and I think it's only OK too... I actually think I prefer CoD2. Maybe I'm just sick of first-person shooters, though...

I would still rather play Geometry Wars on my XB360 than Halo.

Its overrated as hell. The only reason it sold so well is because of advertising. But when you strip down all the posters (damn that sounded dumb), it was just a bunch of targets that made funny noises when they get shot. If I want an FPS, give me Half-Life 2.

Whether it's overrated or not, I still find it to be a fun game.
It's all based on personal preference.

For all of those people who are slandering it, I don't see you guys stating a legitimate reason why "it sucks". For the most part all you guys say is "it's only popular b/c of it's online multiplayer", "it's overrated", or w/e.

If you don't like it, okay that's fine, but if you're going to create a thread about "who hates halo" then you need to state a real reason why you do.

Halo is cool, but it's not that cool. It's not the greatest game around, but I've got nothing against it either

I wouldn't say that Halo sucks, but I just don't see all the hype about it.
I mean, it's a cool game about the battle between men and aliens, and it has some pretty rad multiplayer, but still... I don't see why it's THAT amazing...

Halo is all about multiplayer, it is one of the best multiplayer experiences out there, and with the addition to be able to record all the cool crazy shit that you do and edit maps the possibilites of having fun are endless. And if you want a real challenge, play Halo 3 campaign with ALL skulls activated on Legendary difficulty, Bet you can't even beat the first level in 5 hours =p

Halo 1 was pretty call when it first came out. It had a good story and good game play. Then came Halo 2 that i could not stand at all. Compared to other shooters like HL2 and COD. To me Halo did not keep up with its colorful textures and child-like alien voices.. too silly. But i would play Halo3 just to finish the story.
