Halo, on its own merits is a very good and very solid FPS Series. I love the games and I love playing them.

However, it is a far, far cry from all the hype which would lead a person to believe that halo is the second coming. It is not the greatest FPS Ever (The Orange Box had Halo 3 smeared in all categories). There are a lot of games better then Halo. However, there is a far greater number that are worse. Solid games, but nothing more.

Halo is definately overrated, I'll agree. But I would be lying if I said I didn't play it. (Or rather, didn't play multiplayer and completely ignore the single player mode.)

But honestly, I'm more into CoD4 right now, seconded by Bioshock. Both of those, IMHO, are WAY better than Halo anything @ this point.

Never got into Halo, but I do love FPS over multiplayer such as BF 1942 and BF 2142 and Unreal. I hate Counter Strike tho, just not my kind of game I suppose.

I do agree it is very overhyped but the first one was a great game, the next 2 are just pretty good.

the first one was amazing, then it went downhill with halo 2 imo

the last one is nice as far as i could see but way overrated

i dont like playing halo

I liked it. The game is good and keeps you interested. Aside from the jerks on x-box live the game is great.
