I don't think it sucked, exactly.
But I personally didn't like it.
The only time I had fun playing it,
was when it was me, my brothers and my cousin sitting round playing the new one on 360 online.
That was classic. We slaughtered so many people..
But playing the original, on xbox... just did nothing for me.

It was good for consoles but not as deserving of the praise it gets because it had all been done before, and better.

yeah it sucks, it does nothing interesting too many games are trying to copy it too

if i had a 360 i would own the third one because they are decent games, nothing in particular is really bad with them, the were just overated. at school people would always be like "this is the best game ever" and then i played it and thought it was nothing spectacular. regardless there are more innovative shooters to buy.

lol? what's wrong with you? it's our opinion of the game and i think that game is good but not perfect and there are better games as call of duty 4, etc... reconize it

single player sucks but the online is great

Single player of halo 1 was amazing, even though it was average compared to Farcry, just because of the bump maps i think. All the rest the stories were terrible.

I think its one of the most cliche games ever. I dunno why its so popular. OTL
