Here's the deal.

I ban people for a few reasons. The first and foremost is spam and multi-posting.

Multi-posting is an easy one. If you are the last person to post in a thread, wait till someone replies to make another post. If you have more to say there's an edit button. Use it. If I see back-to-back threads I just delete all but the first one, regardless of what they say. It's a cheesy and annoying way of upping your post count, and if you do it I regulate.
Spam's a little bit more arbitrary. Things I consider spam are: random posts that make no sense, i.e. "ahjhrijdied' or "yskyskyskyskysk", things like that. Also, if I'm reviewing a thread and I come across your post that has contributed ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to the conversation, i.e. "yeah", "lol", "i dunno" or "yeah maybe but i guess not lol", things like that, your post is getting the axe. Finally, if you post any sort of spam link, in a post or your signature, and btw this includes LINKS TO THIS SITE. DON'T DO THAT SHIT, anyway, I'm gonna edit out your link. Be warned, I DO check links, so if that Final Fantasy Lyrics link is pr0n, I'm gonna sock it to ya.

And so far it hasn't happened, but if users start falme wars and I have to step in and regulate, let it be known the participants will be duly judged. I understand a little flaming here and there is harmless and expected, I've been lurking boards for many years now, but I'll damn sure tell you if you get out of line. But for the love of God don't troll, if you need attention THAT bad you need to get off the computer and into real life. Seriously.

Harassment of ANYONE, mods, admins, or fresh fish, will not be tolerated.

So here's the breakdown. If you spam or multi post once or twice, I'm just gonna delete your message and that'll be the end of it. Same for sigs with links. Take the hint, cease and desist.
If you can't or won't take that hint, or if you spam like a fiend, or multi-post like crazy (which by the way includes pointless off-topic convos between two members), I'm gonna step up and give you a 3-day ban. This is my online slap-in-the-face. I will also mark your profile with a permanent infraction, because...

If you can't take THAT hint, or you post spam links, or I log on for the day and you went from 0 to 136 posts since I was gone, and I review those posts and find out they're ALL spam, You're done. For good. I have no problem 86ing people for messing up my boards (I know, they're ALL our boards), and unfortunately I've had to nix a few people already. I'm glad to know the vast majority of people do not feel the need to put me in the position of regulator, and for that I thank you all.
Also, spam bots get automatic permanent bans, but we all know what they look like. Here's a hint, though. Don't post in 'em. I'm gonna delete the damn thing anyway, so it won't count towards your post count in the end anyway.

I hope this clears some things up. I think I'll c&p this and make a sticky, so y'all can refer back and direct those who would cross the line towards it, in hopes that they join our little (not so little as it was, though!) community and not be weak. Thanks, all of ya, for helping this place be awesome! I may be the iron fist of judgement, but you guys are the examples for newbies to follow! Keep up the good work!

Here's another thing. Now, I don't want to hear any bitching about this, because it's just not that hard to put a little thought into posting. If I log on and I find 3 pages of old threads in one forum resurrected by one person, you're getting a ban. Period. Look, all that does is make it hard for people that are ACTUALLY TRYING TO CONVERSE to continue these convos. It's annoying, ridiculous, and if you do it not only will I ban your ass, but I'm gonna knock your postcount down just for spite. Don't like it? Then don't do it.

In view of bots spams, people spamming or posting threads in wrong topics, I will cut all my options to delete completely instead of closing, moving or "kind" delete.
Any threads that are at least 2 months old and have less than 20 posts will be junked. And the subsequent threads that follow the formula (Total number of posts < Age of Threads in months * 10) will be junked as well. So if you dun wan your threads to be junked, bump it up.
Junked meant the threads will no longer be available but your postcounts will not be reduced.

Another issue, if your thread have no meaning to me and nobody is interested, I will not hesitate to delete not junk.

I'm also going to pick up the pace on my part as well. Any threads that has no responce to for longer than a week will be closed. No sense in people reviving old threads that others had lost intrests in.

I've been very lenient in the past in terms of going through 5 pages of posts in one forum when half of them were made by the same person. And I've been rather nice of merging double and triple posts instead of just deleting them. But I'm started to see why Grym was the way he was. And I'm about to follow his footsteps. So beware! No more nice dragon... if you can't follow the rules, then too bad. You'll be thinking about it while on your imposed vacation from the board. Also and this is a BIG also... from now on if I see a post that reads something like 'never seen it' or 'haven't heard of it' once by one member, I'll let it slide. But when I see someone posting things like that over and over and over again in different threads... the posts will all be deleted and a three day ban will be issued. Period! It's not hard to post on topic. If you have never played a certain game or watched a certain anime, et cetera, then stay out of that thread if you have nothing to contribute to the thread. In other words, make your posts count and make it where other members won't mind reading them.
