Welcome!

Welcome to the Role Playing Haven, the forums dedicated to Role Playing here at FFE. There will be a few changes around here and hopefully it will be for the better. In the past RPing here at FFE has been rather bland, weak and truly uneventful. I hope to change that, more RPers, better structure and more fun. Here is a basic breakdown of the forums.

Basic Forum Breakdown

- Role Playing Haven (For all your Role Playing needs...)
- House of a Thousand Tales (Create and play out your own ORGPs.)
- The Library (Post your character bios in here)
- The Battle Grounds (Take your fights here...)
- The Training Field (New to RPing? Come on in.)
- The Courtyard Arena (For competitions, tournaments and other events.)
- The Royal Court (For the judging results and discussion of RPBs and ORPGs.)
- The Barracks (Clan forums and gatherings are located here.)
- The Inner Sanctum (The role playing elite of FFE gather here.)

- Role Playing Haven acts as a portal into the rest of the forums. General RP discussion, questions, etc can be held here. RPH announcements will be here as well.
- House of a Thousand Tales is a place for people to act out their own Online Role Playing Games (ORPGs). A sanctioned FFE quest and story will take place here, to be determined at a later date.
- The Library is where character bios will be posted. A bio tutorial and rules lie here, please read them before posting, it will help speed the process of approval.
- The Battle Grounds is a place for your one on one, tag team, whatever RP battles, respectivly know as RPBs. A set of rules and guidelines are posted in order to keep fair fights going.
- The Training Field is a place for those new to RPing to train amongst eachother or get help from an elder RPer. If you would like to become a mentor please check out the mentor thread in the RP section.
- The Courtyard Arena is an area in which RPB tournaments will be held along with various other RP events will be held. Look in this forum in the future for ways to compete and win prizes.
- The Royal Court is a forum where the RP judges will post the results of their judging and also acts as an area where members of ORPG's can discuss them as well as get feedback on their ORPGs.
- The Barracks is the haven for FFE RP clans, sign up and trial threads will be located here along with a secret forum for each clan.
- The Inner Sanctum is a secret forum for the elite FFE Role Playing Team effectivly known as The Elites. Don't ask to join... we will ask you.

Rules and Guidelines

1. Respect: Please respect your fellow RPers, some may not be as skiled as you or some may be arrogant but please do not flame. We are all at different skill levels: vets, take the time to train and give help to the new RPers, newbies, please do not act like an asshole when vets try to help your or critique your work; we are only trying to help. Respect the RPH mod team, we are here to keep the RPing fair and fun at the same time. We have to be assholes sometimes but it is our job.
2. Fun: Role Playing is a form of entertaiment, the key is to have fun. This means that the RPers need to enjoy RPing and the views need to be able to enjoy the RP. Don't act like a complete ass, don't take things extremely serious. I am not meaing fuck around because if you do you are gone but do not be an ass about RPing. Keep it fun and fair.
3. Creativity: Role playing is based on creativity and originality. Here at FFE we strive to keep our level of RPing at a higher standard. If you RP here we ask that you be creative and original. You have a fresh new idea? Please feel free to try it, don't stick to the mold of normal RPing with Final Fantasy style characters and plot lines. Feel free to step out of the box. Make your own style, write your own way, be yourself and keep it fresh and new at the same time.
4. Fairness: Of course if you want a fun, creative RP enviorment it will have to be fair. The rules and guidelines posted in the forums are here to keep things fair. Sure there will always be power differences but if we can all keep to the rules it will make it a little more fair for everyone. A happier and fairer enviroment for everyone.
