Any banner with Sephiroth in it is awesome in my opinion!!!
 But that one is particularly good, you have kept it simple, while adding some nice effects and blending my favorite picture well. I never saw the original one either ... but who needs Cloud, you only need Sephy!!! Summoner Yuna...

I didn't saw it originally either.
Nice banner, cool effects but I don't really like the picture. Not in yours either SY  He looks scary :O
