So far, other than establishing that we can't say this and can't say that and that yes, this is general chat and we can post....

Why aren't we having any genuinely facinating conversations on the most general topics?

Well I believe it means that they are only chatting about a certain and specific thing and here we can talk about pretty much anything we want. So whats up with everyone?.

The way I see it, isn't it possible to have, like, one, ittsy-bitsy 'chat about whatever is on our mind' sort of thread?
