My friend couldn't pronounce my Chinese name so she translated it into Japanese and called me that. After that, the nick name stuck.

I began playing first person shooter games on the PC online around 1999. At the time, I was called Frag Master which wasn't the most original alias in the world at the time.

I don't know how exactly I came to King Mustard, but I know it involved looking in the kitchen cupboards whilst looking for nickname inspirations...

back then nekotama is the name I used to sign every picture I made. well, actually it's a mistake. When I'm in the elementary school, I was called "cat" by my schoolmates because my name when pronounced makes sound like "meow". First I hate it, later on, I become obsessed with cat because of it and decided to make cat as my icon. but I don't want to be ordinary cat, a lot of people have chosen cat as their icon, so one day, I stumbled over this youkai named nekomata, which is cat with two tails that can transform into human form. I like it and it's rather unusual. But there's a misprint in that manga, it wrote nekotama, not nekomata. I didn't realise it until recently and it's too late to change it, I've used this nickname in almost everywhere.
