The mods were once selected by Admin's and Smod's in the past.

In these times, a forum vote is held, by members, mods, smods and admins.

You are selected for your personality, respect, potential, activeness and responsibilty on the forums. Once you achieve all these things, you're name will most likely be brought to us, were we will decide if you have what it takes.

After that it's up to the majourity of the forum to make your the newest Mod.

It's a looong road to modship.

Ya exactly what Trav said. If you prove yourself as having the quality of a Mod and everything goes well in the votes then you will eventually become a mod. Although a Mod postion must also be open at the time or you will have to wait.
