username changing

i tried changing my name to Lenne ^^ but i cant i checked to see if it was taken also and someone told me that you could use all the symbols so i dont get it :\ lol ja if u guys can help thatd b great.. ^^

The name Lenne is taken so you can't get that name, but there should be no problems with sticking symbols in to make it -lenne- or something :| *doesn't understand the problem* Sorry

While we're on the topic of changing usernames......how do you change your username anyway? =S

you go to User CP and at the top of edit profile itll have you're name. Then you just change it and save but it doesnt work for me. i was adding symbols to Lenne so ya.. -sniff sniff- not fair lol

yeah and i think you have to have a certain # of post, its not much though

You can change your username once every 24 hours. There is no limit on posts at this point in time. There used to be, but it got taken off when everyonle lost their posts from the hacker.

Symbols are acceptable, but some people get weird errors when trying to change stuff in their profiles or use the SB if they have symbols in their name. So keep that in mind if you are going to use some strange characters in your name.
