Proper use of this Forum

As one of the smods here at FFE, one of my jobs [along with the other smods] here is to check this forum. Now, I've been noticing a lot of irrelevant posts in here lately. So here are some guidelines for posting in this forum.

Creating a new topic

• Check the past threads to see if it has been answered before. Many questions have been asked before, so you might just find what you are looking for.
• Make sure your question is relevant to either FFE or FFE Forums. So many people are putting topics about their own sites or web help in here. That does not belong here. You should use the "Any Key" forum for such topics.

Replying to topics

• Reply only if you can help. If you cannot help, don't post ... it is considered spam otherwise, no matter how detailed your posts are.
• The only exception to this is if you are having the same problem. You may reply saying so, but only if you can provide more details on the problem. Just saying "this happens to me also" is considered spam.

Not too many rules, but note that they will be enforced. Repeat offenders will be warned accordingly. Irrelevant topics will be closed in future [and not moved like they have been in the past].

Also, topics in this forum are closed after they are considered "answered" or cleared up to prevent further spamming. However, if you have a topic and need it reopened, just PM one of the staff members and we'll reopen it for you.
