Fucking hell, FFE is dying into inactivity and no one is doing shit about it.

Great thread there set up by Edman, got a lot of feedback and decent suggestions. I see that at least most of that thread was completely ignored when it comes to acctually taking action O_o

There are other threads that paint the same picture as that one I think, but I shouldn't need to hunt them down to prove my point. I think the inactivity level is the thing on most members' minds at the moment.

And as for the battle hack, is that supposed to aid the reincarnation of FFE? My God.. Even though the thread got a fairly good response, only about seven member know it's even up. And it isn't even finished yet 9_9

And everytime this question is asked and someone bothers to reply, all we get is "Wait for v5 and it'll all be peachy". Well unless someone at least tries to fufil some of those suggestions in that thread I'm pretty damn sure that the inactivity will continue O_o

I must agree, we talk a lot about how things should be improved, but very little is actually being done.

Of course, it is written off as Roth's ianctivity, but why doesn't Roth just give the FTP pass to other staff members so that others can work on the forums as well? It's not like Travnia, Duffman or Summoner Yuna would delete the forums :S

And Roth, if the forums were hacked, then it doesn't matter how many times a day you change the forums FTP password. If somebody hacked it, then they will get the new password anyway.

Btw, I'm waiting for the battle hack to come online, so I can think up of GP prizes for the FFTrivia contest. Then that is coming up. A contest without a prize seems too sad even for me.

The Gil is up already, and you (or a higher staff member :S) can edit a members amount of Gil from ACP. There's your prize money. Go and make a thread for the contest instead of just saying you will. Hype it up in the SB too.

EDIT: Just realised it's not in the postbit yet. Is it that hard to copy and paste one short line of code onto one template? Meh... Profile template could do with updating too, while we're on the subject ;D

And may I just point out that "Letting it Die" isn't exactly what is happening right now. This is still one of the top five FF forums on the internet as far as member activity goes.

Things have simply slowed down a bit. It's not really dying, it's the bloody winter. Of course the activity is going to be smaller compared to the glory months of the summer.

Well I think everything will be peachy in Version 5, I mean there is alot coming in the Version, we just have to wait and it is also up to the Members of FFE like you and me to Promote the Site and Forum.

That's not the point. The title could have been anything and you know what I acctually mean by reading my post.

You obviously didn't bother to read my first post or just skimmed over it at most. It may be the winter but you can't blame that on the recent inactivity. Are people going to be out lying on white beaches in the winter? No. They're more likely to be at home, probably on their computers. I blame the fact that there seems to be nothing to do here... yet. My whole aim is simply to pursuade people to get off their asses and use what we already have. We have more than you may notice.

We already have a battle hack and people are starting to use it. We need to make it more interesting though, everyone can install a battle hack. Why not have a contest for item makers? People send in their items, most interesting one gets some Gil. We could set that up now in the Graphix forum infact.

That's only one suggestion. We have the Gil/Market stuff back now so we can use that as prizes. We could get the Awards/Trophy hack re-installed too, it wouldn't take too much time.

C'mon people =/

Irrelevant to this thread, please don't spam (if yo uhave a question like that, jsut start a new topic, that's it).

The biggest FF forum is FFOnline. After that come all the forums who have a sor tof equal activity levels - FFExtreme, FFRepublic, FFInsider, FFX2Net, FFWA, EyesOnFF, Shinra Online.

However, FFOnline has always been deemed to be too tight assed (means you get banned like after 1 spam post), and actually - maybe even too active for some people's liking.
