This is a huge bummer...
I loved this site :'(
I'll pray that some how the music section will come back to life. Perhaps make it a requirement to click on an ad x amount of times before a music can be downloaded, that way there can possibly be revenue (unlikely).

If not, can someone recommend a similar site?

or another option is to download MediaWiki (free) or get free space from Wikia. You won't have to pay a dime on server costs.

The reason the soundtracks are gone is not because there wasn't revenue to support the site, the reason that they're gone is because of a lawsuit by a small time composer who composed music for a scant few games that we were hosting... even though he doesn't hold the copyrights to those games...

... unless you have a few million dollars laying around somewhere, then they might go back up.

Oh, is that why?

Can't we just take down the songs he supposedly composed and leave the rest up? That, and the ad clicking requirement raking in a couple pennies could support the site.

I'd click 1000 times if it meant something.

They tried that first, but that wasn't good enough for him. He wanted them all down and demanded the owners to take them all down.

So does that mean that the .mp3 section of this site is dead forever and there is nothing that will be done to get the music back up? ever?

I can unbookmark it?

The anime soundtracks are over with their corresponding anime series. The game soundtracks are gone forever and there's nothing that we can do about it.

i know that means that the mp3 files are gone, but does it also mean the mass downloads are gone as well?
