I have never been on MySpace. There are too many negatives associated with it. I also think MySpace is a waster of time. Personally, I would rather talk to my friends on the phone or face-to-face.

I like it as a contacting network, but nothing more.

It's a waste of time -_- People spend countless hours making their myspace look "cool" for the people who visit their page. Who honestly cares what your page looks like if it really only is for social networking -_- If you really want to communicate with someone, just call them, or IM if you must, but don't look for a real social relationship over myspace. Most people post up fake pics of themselves and post lies about their life. It is truely pathetic -_-

There's really no point to it.

Most people with 100+ friends don't even talk to each other. And the bulletins seem pretty mindless.(i.e. "lol read this and the person u like will ask u out the next day lol")

Heh, its not so much that but because I got bludgeoned into getting it from a few mates to keep in contact when we went our seperate ways.

The problem is that it is handy in that respect, its the rest of the stuff that comes with it that is annoying.

That's EXACTLY what I think.
Some people have contests with their friends, i.e. how many comments can you get?
Others have one just for the sake of having one.

I made a MySpace...space, just so I could contact one guy about a CD of his. Other than that, I have no use for it. Same with Facebook, bebo or any other blog dealies.

Myspace is dumb. I use facebook a little bit but even that is getting stupid and useless more and more.
