The main reason I brought up that example back then about shit was just to put Sorrows situation in an everyday situation. No, it wouldn't have proven you right, because I was actually arguing, against your supposed Almighty Always Right Turks Opinion With Real Ultimate Power?, that disgust alone wasn't a valid reason not to do something and that one should examine one's disgust and see whether it is founded in fact. Shit is full of harmful germs. That's a very good reason not to pick it up with your bare hands, and it's a decent reason not to completely abandon one's revulsion towards it. Sex is the only reason any of us are here; if our parents hadn't had sex, we wouldn't have been born. It also makes us happier and healthier, so a disgust to sex is counterintuitive to one's own health and it's probably a good idea to attempt to overcome such a thing. If anything, you missed my point.

That was the context in which I wrote it, the way it was meant to be taken. If you took it a different way then thats just you, but it wasnt the way it was meant to be. That crying in actions thing was actually in the post AFTER the one you were talking about too anyway so it is irrelevant.

You still dont get it. The example was just to put things in an every day situation. It wasnt meant to be taken literally. It was just used to show something. The disgust of the situation was not an issue and so didnt need commenting on. It was just to simulate reasoning, opinion and reaction to an EVENT. It didnt matter what the event was, just that it was something that someone didnt like. The everyday person wouldnt like picking up shit for any reason - Sorrow doesnt like sex for similar reasons. thats all it was meant to show. The disgust factor didnt matter at all because it was nothing to do with what I was trying to show.

If the disgust doesn't matter, why the fuck is it used as the entire basis for your argument? It's the only thing that Sorrow uses as his justification for disliking sex, I was pointing out why disgust in some situations is rational and in some situations it is not.
