Editing of one's posts shouldn't affect the count, unless you delete the entire thing.

Spamming pretty simple and easy to avoid. Just contribute something worthwhile and on topic, and you're safe. I've post a lot in the last 12 hours, but I avidly avoid Spamming because it's truly dishonorable.

yeah, obviosly im a new member, and i just did like 3 in a row on one sight... im pretty sure they didnt stray from the topic of the froum though... is that ok?

personally i think that the postcount rule should be removed and that leaves uploading as the only way to mass download, then members would talk sense and not take advantage of the rules. probable won't happen but hey, i can dream...
